Access to Education Records
Eligible students may inspect and review education records maintained by the college, subject to exceptions allowed by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.
Records Not Open to Review
Certain financial, confidential recommendation, employment, treatment and law-enforcement records may be excluded where permitted by law.
Requests for Amendment
A student who believes an education record is inaccurate or misleading may request an amendment and may have a right to a hearing when a request is denied.
Disclosure of Education Records
Personally identifiable information from education records is generally not disclosed without written consent unless an exception under FERPA applies.
Directory Information
The college may identify categories of directory information and provide students with an opportunity to restrict disclosure in accordance with its procedures.
